Up for sale is a low-mile hybrid 94 turbo ECU, fed-spec. This is compatible with 94-95 turbo cars, and others with modification. No leaky caps (these aren't really known to leak like the first gens anyway).

$100 shipped. Trades welcome.

Looking at the pinouts between the 91 TT and the 94 TT I dont think it would be overly difficult to make this work in my 91 VR4. What does you mean by its a hybrid ECU.

Yeah not hard. 94-95 ECUs are referred to as "hybrid" because they were in between OBD1 and OBDII, they use Mitsu's MUTII protocol. This used to make them hard to connect to but these days it's a non-issue and supported by EvoScan et al.

Cool. If you still have it in a couple days I will take it, by Friday will not be an issue.

Just want to chime in and say that a 94 TT ECU does not have the same pinouts as a 91-93 TT ECU, so unless you change your harness it won't work. The hybrid ecu has 4 connectors, where as the OBD1 ECU has 3.

Anyways, that is a good deal!

Yeah the 3 connectors from the 91 TT fit into 3 of the four sockets for the 94 TT. The fourth connector only hold a couple needed wires for the TT, the rest are NA and auto only. I would need to move a couple wires around but its worth it for a ECU I can afford at this time. Sure he will sell it by Friday anyways.

Then you should thank me, because I almost bought it a few days ago. But I felt guilty because I didn't need it, so I told him to try and sell if first and if nobody bought by the Grill N Chill I would take it. I was real tempted... but all I was going to do was try to flip it.
