I have a modified OBX front differential that I was going to install in my spare TT (w5mg1) race transmission. This has had all of the internals modified properly for as optimal operation as an OBX diff can provide. It has had the pinion gears chamfered and shot-peened, sun gear spline ID chamfered (for improved passenger-side axle removal), upgraded belleville washers, and new machined grade 12.9 bolts installed. It has bearings installed already (does not normally come with them) but a couple of the cages are dented from handling. The bearing roller elements still spin fine (cages just keep them in place) so it's up to your discretion about replacing the bearings. This OBX should not result in any debris generation unlike the cheapo ebay units. Asking $450/shipped.

Killer deal! Somebody needs to buy this quick. If I didn't already have one I'd jump all over it.

If still here next week I may jump. What is involved in installing?

He did. If you are thinking about it, I'll vouch for Wayne's work. I would have bought it already, but I'm not buying anything until I get a new job.

Good to know Chris, but after my dentist visit, I will for sure need to pass, a cavity under a crown makes for an expensive cavity.

Yeah, as mentioned I coordinated the work (actually TRE did the pinion chamfering and shot peening for me since I had my other trans there anyway).

This!
I wish I had the money. This is a steal for the work he has done.
