That's right, after a little more then a year the car has been down. And for the first time I'm excited. Even though the car is still down. And the sad part is, I won't be working on it. Since I'm so pressed with time with work, I am having a shop. Accelerated preformance do the work, I know don and russ decently. They have done work for a lot of my friends. They also built the blue mk4 supra thay went into the 7s this year, see it all over in mags. But this feeling is strange for me. Once again I feel like alittle highschool kid, looking at videos dreaming of what it will be like to drive the car once again.
So now that almost eveything is here even though winter his here I can't wait.
Btw I'm going for the 15g record with no spray. On stock rod. Eveything else aftermarket. And e85.
Am I the only one who feels like a kid with a.d.d
Sorry, bored at work and had to tell someone

I cant fucking sleep at night because all I think about is what I will be doing to my car and getting to run it next year. Im not even driving it anymore until I get the T70 in. Hey Im running e85 too :D.
Good luck with the record. Im sure you will break it.

Curious as to why you want to go all aftermarket but keep the stock rods ?

Good to know that I'm not the only one that is a. Kid on crack, 5 monster and a.d.d. when it comes to out cars lol
E85 is gods gift to the jews who like cars. Lol. Race gas with a buck lol. I love it
When I had pmp do the engine, I didn't plan on. Trying to hit over 500whp, now I am. Should have had the rods done. I hope they can handle a decent amount. Lol
Thanks, I hope I can break it to. Lol

I'd love to go E85, but sadly no corn pumps here :( I wanna see what my 15g's could do on some good old corn power!

I was just texting a fellow 3s'er about this yesterday. We got our first cool front in LA and my car just felt like it woke up. Can't wait to hit the track.

So....anyone know where I could buy a few barrels of E85? Also, do fuel lines and stuff need to be upgraded, or will stock ones work? I know I'll need a lot bigger than 550cc injectors, but what else does it take?

550's were just enough for me with e-85/9b's so you wont need to much more, unless you plan to upgrade again in the future.
You will need a fuel filter at a minimum as the stock one doesnt last long in corn, the stock banjo bolts on the filter are also very restrictive, so its a good idea to get rid of it.
You will also need some sort of fuel management, walbro 255 if you dont got one, maybe 2 if you push the 15g's far enough. FMIC will help a lot on small turbos that make a lot of heat.
You will also want to look into doing some weight reduction.
What is the 15g record anyways?

Whatever you run when you replace your 9bs with 15gs

The record is around 11.006. And I think it was close to stock weight . For 15gs, i would go with what I have. Which is 750cc, which mayy be pushing it. Fpr, dual 255 walbros. Stock lines should be fine. For volume of fuel.. iam going to go to a aeromovite fuel fliter to be safe.
Here is my set up.
Fmic,750cc, dual 255, aem, non maf tod4. Intakes. Going to hopefully upgrade the tb or port. Egr delete.
New. better rad as well
Block.... stock reworked rods, 4bolt block, stock crank, wiscod pistions, arp head, rod, main bolts. Clevite bearings.
Going to max the turbos out so hopefully 25psi on corn.
Going to look into upgrading oil coolers. O also clutch, and hopefully. This winter. A new driveshaft. 2sectioned
And. Suggestions?.... also I'm keeping it a factory eveything.

If you are running 2 walbros the 750's should get you far enough. Stock throttle body will be plenty big enough for a bolt on turbo, thats all i am running(sort of).
At the track i would suggest getting some sort of piping or tube that runs up to the front bumper so you can get a lot of cold air forced in those little guys.
As far as clutch goes i love my clutchmasters twin. Its very driveable on the street, and grabs like hell on the track. If your gona be launching a full weight car then you gonna want some serious holding power.
Oil cooler kit, we sell a oil cooler is worth it, its only $255 and its a lot nicer than the stock one is, plus you can mount it up front, or wherever you want to get more air to it.
Driveshaft, get the aluminum 2 pc, it saves 12 pounds and twists on launch which helps stress on the drivetrain.

Megans are nice, I can get you a nice price on them, as well as the d2's. I am running d2's with a custom spring rate since my car is lighter.
The spec 3+ worked out good for me while i had it, it slipped a little but not to bad when i was full weight. It was also very DD friendly when i had the vaccuum assist still hooked up, not bad after i removed it either.

Move to WI. Ya from what Ive seen, just big enough injectors and a new fuel filter... "Its been found that e85 has enough lubricants in it that it will not eat way at rubber lines" Not sure where I saw that quote but ya.... So as long as you can pump enough fuel through the lines, you will be fine. Like Austin said you will need fuel management, I will be running EMU. Just dont blow your car up :).

Yea, I will be rocking a AEM EMS for sure lol. After dumping much money into the car. Gotta make sure there is a good tuning system in place.

Very nice. Ya I wasnt sure which to get, aem or emu. I decided on emu because I plan on doing all the tuning myself so I would like to learn on a piggy back first :)

Really, I was always under the impression that you needed HUGE injectors like the 800-1000cc range to run E85, but that may be only for the high HP guys. I have maftpro for fuel management and I believe a supra pump in the tank, also Cxracing FMIC, so I'm covered on those fronts I believe. You're saying to remove the fuel filter assembly completely? Do you run an aftermarket in-line instead? Hmmm this might be more do-able than I thought ;)

You could get a oem style replacement just need to make sure it is more e85 safe. But also good to go aftermarket.
E85. Burns 33percent more fuel then normal gas. On a honda or dsm. Needs a bigger injector then most cars since its a 4. But when ur going up to 600 . 700 yes u need 1000cc

You need a stainless steel filter. STM sells filters with ss replacement inserts :D. You dont need an aftermarket line. It is very doable. I just decided over night Im going to run it next week. I just need to fix my slave cylinder :D. Oh and Im running 680cc injectors, a walbro, and EMU.
