Congratulations to CoreyB & his
1992 DODGE STEALTH RT Twin Turbo
CoreyB's Garage Link (http://www.3sgto.org/garage_vehicle.php?do=view_vehicle&id=399)
I bought this car as a bit of a basket case. The kid who had the car before had jumped timing and bent valves, so he "rebuilt" the engine. He was way over his head and didnt really know what he was doing, he did however manage to get the car to start.
The first thing I did when I got the car home was yank out the engine and start the build over. The pan was so full of crap it was as if it sat uncovered in a garage for a year and he just slapped it on the car without cleaning. The pistons were new (which is nice) however they had been installed backwards.Tons of problems, so glad I was able to save the engine.
After I got the engine all done, it was time to get some other improvements. I installed a set of CHEAP Sunpro gauges, oil psi, water temp and boost. I installed a set of replacement seat covers from Mitoska. Also did some audio. A used cheap DVD touch screen stereo, Alpine Type S speakers all around, a Alpine mini amp, a Alpine 8" Type R sub in a Alpine box and a old Kicker 600.1 amp.
After the interior was looking and sounding better, I did some exterior work. I repainted the badging black, over the nasty red that was there. And picked up a set of used 18" Rays Gram Lights wheels.
Currently the car is going through another make over including TEIN S Tech lowing springs, 3SX control arms, Mitshimotor radiator, GZP side mount oil cooler and more. Also repainting the engine bay to a high gloss pearl white and polishing some parts to really brighten it up under the hood.
