We had our first autocross practice of the season yesterday, the turnout was HUUUGE. There were easily 100+ cars there. All the practices I had been to in years past were normally low attendance and high run count. Oh well, got 4 runs in just like a race day. Everyone seemed to treat it like a race day just no set run groups or classes.

I really need to figure out this suspension.... With cold tires it is LOOSE. I had forgot my tire blankets at home, that may of helped. Since the run groups were so large it was 20-25 minutes between each run, I dont think tires got above 80F.

Had a nice slide, threw it into the corner while still braking slightly. Downshifted into 1st right before the apex and floored it, lol. I suck and couldnt save it. Should have just let off the gas after the first slide.

This was my best run of the day, a 54.85x. FTD Was low 51's. I had a passenger so curb weight was probably 4300 lbs. Hah. I couldnt imagine if my car was 6-700 lbs lighter, that would be quite a ride.

Thanks for watching. Plans for the future are some 18x10 rims and some 285 Hoosier A6's and some Ohlins R/T coil overs... Should have all that this spring.

Looks like the same layout as when I was up last, but no rain! Nice.

If you end up wanting to sell your current wheels to fund the 18x10s let me know. I was considering picking up a set just couldn't decide on charcoal or black for a white car.

I will be keeping these wheels. Will probably buy another set even...

Looks like a lot of fun!

What are you expecting to improve by going to Ohlins? Just curious.

Also, do you know how much those wheels you have weight?

They are the same as stock, 24-25 lbs.

I plan to gain suspension that actually works rather than just goes up and down with a stiffer than stock spring.
