I am going to pick up a batch of billet cnc oil pump gears tomorrow or Friday. Same gears as the hundreds? of sets I've sold over the last 4-5 years. There are a couple extra sets available if anyone wants them at group-buy pricing of $465/shipped. Paypal is boostaddict@hotmail.com.

Bump.

These are oil pump gears that I reverse engineered and improved on for superior high rpm performance about 5 years ago. I chose a chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy steel (think sae 4340 on steroids) heat treated to my specification. The gears are machined by a world class precision machine shop using both edm and cnc milling to a high tolerance (+/- 25 microns on the form profile, but most measure out at more like 3-5 microns max). Every gear set is serialized and undergoes 100% cmm inspection to verify there will be no geometry-related issues. I have probably sold hundreds of these gears with no reported problems including sets to many board veterans and many high hp builds. People have reported bumps in oil pressure which was just an added bonus.

No worries. I have a few sets so I'll probably have them available for a while yet. Just not planning on going through the hassle of making them again.

If they don't move over time we may lower the price. But for now, they are so precious since he is not making them anymore the price will be a little high.
