Just wanted to know all of your guy's opinion on this matter.
I have a Genesis 2.0T, but I like the FR-S as a car (wouldn't own one though)
I'd like to know from the 3/S fanbase which one you guys like best, seeing as I came from a 3/S myself (and my dad still owns his 550awhp one and STILL doesn't let me drive it -_-)
Any engines, any trims anything goes, just a good discussion to see what you guys (gals maybe?) like and why.

Lol someone please lock/delete this thread or move it to the appropriate section
imho, the 2.0t is woefully underpowered. and they should have offered the tau v8 in the coupe.

I hardly ever see Genises(?)(even funnier; Mozilla spell check suggests "Penises") rolling around. I remember sitting in one at the auto show and liked it though. I'm a big fan of the FRS, more so the BRZ, but I can't wait til they come out with a turbo version!

Agreed
Some say the power is just right on those things though. It's made to carve up the backroads and I've heard it's perfect for doing so. I still want turbo though lol

Huh? In its class, it's a beast.
I've driven both several times. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I prefer the power and interior of the gc2t but prefer the exterior styling and aftermarket of the frs/brz.
And a factory turbo on the frs/brz? I won't be holding my breath... From what I've read, they're concerned about cutting into the sales of the WRX (don't know how much truth there is to this). Besides, as fast as the frs/brz is leaving dealer lots, why would they bother cutting into their profit margins?

i guess for 2013 they've upped it to 271hp from 210hp. that's a big improvement, and the 3.8L v6 is up to 345hp now too.
i'd called it underpowered because the ford focus st's ecoboost i4 is ranked at 252hp.
