EMU and First Start Up

So I have the EMU with a Boomslang @ stage 2.5

I have a completely stock setup right now except for a hotwired walbro, 13t's, MBC.

How do I keep the EMU from implementing its settings at first and just use it to log?

BTW, I took this out of a 240SX and need to know the on-board jumper config as well.

I also just noticed that i have 21 jumpers, the manual only shows 20. I have 1-6 and 18 set to 1-2 for add for the 2.5 wiring. Also, I remember someone saying something about jumper 15 needs to be changed or I will get no spark?

Just zero all the maps, make sure the injector settings page is zero`d (deadtime and capacity adjustment) and check the ignition rev limit / launch is zero`d out.

The jumper pin for the ignition is 5v or 12v, our cars use 5v to the PTU.
