1995 $ 9500

hey folks i'm selling a 95 3000GT SL the car is all stock except for air intake it has a blue weapon r air intake but i still have stock air box that comes with it.

-it has 63xxx miles
- exterior is in great shape i would say an 8/10
-interior is a 10/10
-5spd manual
-Front wheel drive FWD
the car just got its 60k tune up done which included the timing belt and spark plugs , also while it was in for that was getting inspected and got new brakes all around 2 new tires have all the paperwork and receipts-parts alone cost 6-650 and labor was 1700 so its in great running shape never had any problems while it was in also got oil change and tranny fluid change this car is in stock shape, also its a great platform for a TT conversion(especially since the maintenance is all up to date) a/c blows snow its so cold heat works like the desert. power windows power locks, cd/ casett w/ factory 6 disc cd changer and mp3 jack all factory. also has an alarm and a key fob. back seat will fit a car seat. also gets 23-24 mpg mixed driving. this car has had three owners 2 being me and my dad so this car has been driven but always taken care of. she is my baby but i feel it time to let it go need a bigger backseat and would like a little more power also never been in an accident car is in perfect shape

- im pretty negotiable, make offers interested in trades let me know what you have no garbage and offer pictures if you gonna offer a trade please maybe some cash on my end or your end or maybe even up, let me know what you have. - i am in absolutly no rush to sell if you are gonna offer me 5000 i just wont respond

THE BAD

-THE GLOVE BOX LATCH IS BROKEN AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED (I PLAN ON DOING THIS BEFORE IT SELLS , SO PROBABLY WONT BE AN ISSUE)<br>
-IT ALSO HAS A BAD DRIVER SIDE WINDOW REGULATOR BUT I HAVE A REPLACEMENT TO GO WITH IT AGAIN IF I DONT TAKE CARE OF IT FIRST.<br>

ALSO included for the right price ---- 600 watt kicker amp with 2 ten in Memphis audio speakers in box it good shape not die If it fits in the car or not.<br>

only problem is, $5000 is probably an incredibly fair price, and i hate to say it. good luck with sale.

not to disagree but everything around me for 5 grand TT or not is high mileage and in so much worse shape asside from GZP up in easton since there stuff looks really nice, also everything is modded to high heaven i got a low miled unmolested stocker with the timing belt done again ones i look at may or may not be done but no one list it so i would say good chance its not, not starting anything just clarifying my lunacy (per say)
so i can hope

EDIT : not thst modded is bad for sale, but also i have all services records, and me if i buy a car i prefer unmodded or if modded it to be done by a shop with some record, i dont trust people so im always scheptical.

It does look nice and has low miles but I paid 3K less 9 years ago for a 3000 in the same condition. Like thadd said it's fair price is probably 5k. It's a shame these cars have dropped in price so much. BTW I thought the SL had leather seats.

Anyway good luck, it looks like a nice car.

It did. Looking at the back there is no SL badge either. It doesn't look like it has ECS either. All those point to it being a base. Could be mistaken though.

SL and base had the same wheels. Only thing an engine bay pic will show is if it has ABS and ECS (which the lack of the button says it does not), since 95 base and SL were both DOHC.

I've looked it up and everything that differs between the 2 and they could be on either badge no badge leather no leather they both have DOHC so engine pic wont do anything

however all that being said Ill get the engine pic and a pic of the manual and original window sticker that I swear said SL, could be wrong. I wont be happy if I am wrong but will admit it and fix price accordingly.
but its stupid nonetheless bc, anything could be on either (from what I've been looking at on forums and other sites) and since the only way to tell is car fax and your manual the price shouldn't differ to far being the motor is the exact same.
idk well go from wherever when I get solid information.

If you can't find the original window sticker the VIN could tell you everything you need to know.

Might want to check the vin on the sticker and compare it to the one on the car. That could be causing the confusion if it's not the right sticker.

Definitely sure you are wrong. Those wheels were on 97-99 SL's

That's a base model. All SL's came with leather in that year. In mid 95 the ECS was dropped. Right about the same time they switched from removable glass roof to electric sunroof.

Like Hansy said those are 97-99 SL wheels. 94-96 NA 3000GT's had the same 7 spoke (or maybe 6 spoke, I don't feel like looking right now) wheels whether SL or base. The only option was the "chrome" version.

You're still way off, buddy. There are TTs out there for less than that, with decent miles. 5k, maybe. But no way are you stepping into TT territory. Car is nice, but it's not showroom quality, and it is in no way extremely rare or unique.

A local member sold his1st gen sl w low miles for around 5k and it took him a while to sell.. just have to find the right buyer that is willing to pay for a low mileage n/a.... however it will not be anywhere near 9k... if you get an offer for 5-6k take it... good luck w the sale

I know it seems like we are being hard on you, but we are just realistic. There was a high grade dealership that had a 93 RT that was CLEANER than your car with less miles, leather, ECS, etc etc. They had it listed for $9900 and have had it listed there for close to a year. There is a reason they haven't sold it, and the price is the only reason.

the 9 I had listed at the beginning was because I was really not to interested in selling it doesn't have to go anywhere, and since then I have dropped price to 7500 for little more realisticness ---
also upon my own investigating I apologize for the listing of SL I swore it was listed in my window sticker however it was not, just mine came with a few upgrades.

not being rude what do you all consider decent miles everything I see on craigslist TT/NA either are 135k plus asking 5000-9000, as for far off I doubt that as the market is whatever someone will pay, seeing as I am in no rush to sell its sitting in a garage and constantly up to date with maintenance I am ok to wait I will not give the car away. even if it is worth "5-6" because that would be relatively quick sale is irrelevant ill wait to get what I want car is to nice to sell for 5k

totally not disrespecting you guys I really appreciate the input on the SL business as I was not thinking clearly but price I have come down and completely aware of the 9k of me smoking crack :) but again starting at 7-7500 id be more within reason I feel so Im ok to just sit on it

Brian, all first gen TT/VR4s have digital climate control too.

To the OP...just throw up an asking price with OBO and see what kind of offers you get...sounds like you arent desperate to sell, so why not?!?

Put it up on ebay w a reserve price and see what interest and offers you get... As 3S owners we are just being realistic with you.. is it possible to get a buyer for say 6k or more??? Sure anything is possible but HIGHLY unlikely... GL!
