My headlights on my 93 sl are not working. All fuses are fine. Headlights will pop up but not turn on. high beams do not work either. The actual bulbs are fine. I am thinking it is a bad relay? I have never messed with them before so I don't know much about them. How exactly do you replace one? In the photo I am only able to get the little cover off and that's about it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Pull and wiggle. You will get the relay out.

I had this problem with my car too, the fog lights also won't turn on but the main headlights DO work. Tried swapping the relays, but to no avail. Anyone have any solutions? I don't have my multi-meter otherwise I'd be checking all the circuits right now, but as of now I'm at a loss as to where to check. The switches seem to all work, but it's somewhere between the steering column and the relay box that they all stopped working. Also tried changing all the fuses, that did nothing. Any help appreciated

This may sound stupid but, did you bump your fog switch?

well my highbeams AND fog lights AND headlights stopped working all on the same day. I got the headlights to work again, but couldn't get the highbeams or fogs to ever work again. Yes I checked the fog light switch.

Got the relay out, replaced it and lights are working again.
