cant change periphery bits

i am typing this at the risk of looking really dumb

i have successfully changed everything through the ecu from the rev limit, NLTS, and a number of other things. i however cant seem to change any of the bits within any of the peripheries.

i click the '=' (obviously) and i have tried typing in 'disabled', 'off', the number 0, the number 1, capitalizing the first letter of the words, everything. what do i type in to the periphery bits to disable/enable them?

an example of things i want to turn on is the NLTS or the launch control

Use the '+' and '-' key.

actually shift + '+' key is what is working for me

BTW: thank you for posting threads! A lot of these basic questions get PMed to me a lot and threads reach out to a broader audience. There's no such thing as a stupid question and I can only do so well alone with trying to teach what many people don't know. Basic concepts like this are so trivial to me that I don't even think about them thus don't think to share them with others as I assume its already common knowledge.

Please do this. I knew this before, couldn't remember after a year, and just spent all day trying to figure it out before I found this thread! :)
