Hi All,

I have looked but can't find it. I have a 1990 GTO TT. It should have an 18 spline OS and early TC but it currently has the TC with the sight hole which I thought was indroduced 92-93 era which is when they also changed to 25 spline. So does that mean I'm running a 25 spline OS?

According to 3SX

You can put a sight hole cover onto a converted 18 spline. So the only way to tell is to pull the TC off.

By converted you mean small bearing to big bearing????

That or 25 spline converted, just pull it off, its pretty easy to do, and then you will know for sure. Why are you wondering, did something go bad in the drivetrain?

Not yet but as you know I have been thinking about engine upgrades and figured that maybe I should do something about the "weak" spots as they are more likely to break if more power is pushed through them LOL. Depending on how much I have available funds wise looking at a SS housing etc.

Looks identical to my `91 GTO 18 spline TC unfortunately.

The 18 splines get a bad rap but I`ve done 200+ launces on mine and it`s all still in one piece!, got a 300m output shaft to go in when I get round to fitting it..
