I don't give a shit about ads. It's when those ads make EVERY page load 5-10 seconds slower that sends me over the edge.

Make your money but please keep this fast loading Alan. I had to change my browsing style about a year ago to opening up everything in a new tab just so I can continue browsing what I'm looking at while the other page loads.

People are worried about join dates/post counts. I think the most important is trader rating. If at all possible it would be nice for that to carry over. I'm guessing there's gonna be some hoops to jump through to get that to fly.

Advertising isn't evil as long as it is targeted appropriately... and it doesn't turn into the sole reason for running a site...

That said... I was pleased to see all of the support this site already has, especially from the big guns like 3sx

Personally, I like some of the ads, 3sx sales ads usually clue me on on a sale I'd likely buy something from, and unless i see their post, I wouldnt have caught it otherwise.

So long as the ads are car related and not as in your face and so many of them as 3si, I dont mind.
Evolutionm.net wasnt to bad. Decent amount of ads but it wasnt slow and they werent in the way.
