I will be replacing the stock radio from my 1997 VR-4 after it was damaged during the hurricane.
Is there an adapter of some kind so that I can use the two antennas that came with the car?
Also, I found a wiring adapter so I can use the stock amp. Is there anything special I need to do to get everything to work with a minimum of fuss?
Thanks

Yes. If you want to do that, you need two parts. One is a "y" adapter and the other is a little adapter to upsize the tip to the rear glass antenna. Some people said this adapter tip I am listing was a hair large, so they squeezed the opening a bit with a pliers.
The "Y" adapter is Metra 40-UV43 It's a Male to Two Female Universal
The Adapter to make the glass antenna plug larger is Scosche MDAB Adapter Tip

That's funny. After all the research I did, I came across that exact option.
I wish you had replied earlier. It would have saved me months of research and aggravation
Thank you very much for the reply. I will save this for future reference

Has anyone noticed an improvement in reception after hooking up the diversity Ant. to an aftermarket headunit?
