I am so frustrated. I am sure many of you have experienced the same problem I have now. I am so damn close to finishing this build so I can drive this beeyotch, but one problem solved leads to another to figure out how to solve.
So the Tomei bov showed up yesterday after some issues trying to get an Evo IX bov. I knew I would likely have to relocate the bov some so the tranny counter weight wouldn't smack into it. However when I put it in and asked wifey to let me know what gears interfere with it I now realize that the freaking weight hits the I/C pipe on my greddy kit:mad: I have read some things on "other 3S sites", but want to help contribute to info here like a good member:D
The car is basically together minus hood, headlights, and front bumper cover. Anyone have a suggestion for an easy way to either remove or cut part of this weight off given it's in the car which is full of fluids. I am hoping I might use a puller to get this weight off, but I was so frustrated last night that I just had to walk away. I have a friend coming to visit to do some musky fishing so I probably won't have time until tomorrow evening or even Monday. I also have the tranny from the 99 sitting on the workbench so I will look that over for ideas too, but those all seem easy sitting on a bench.
