What I have is a 5 speed PST Aluminum/Steel Driveshaft that I pulled from my stealth that I sold off a few years back and prob have no need to hold onto it any longer as all I have is 6 speed cars now ..it's in good shape and was only used about 10k ...asking $600 shipped

It will work in your 6 speed. It just wont go in the transfer case quite as far

I wouldn't run it on one of my 6 speed cars since it it a 5 speed shaft but the buyer can make that call

I mean have you physically installed it? I have had a 6 speed shaft in both transmissions. The difference is not that great. I'm just trying to get you to not waste money if you don't have to.

that's what i'm worried about.

once you have 1 diameter of the splines of engagement anything extra does nothing for you if your motor mounts are decent. The shaft goes in practically a mile into the 5 speed transfer case. I wouldn't worry.

i'm thinking more along the lines of the short length vs the atx transfer case it fits into. i don't have any experience in that area (plus i'd hate to find out that i can't get my nipple spliced onto it...but that's another concern entirely).
