Ok, so, I got the infamous flashing Tour and Sport lights simultaneously. Pulled off the front actuator caps, tested continuity, and they checked out. Just due to ease of access, I pulled the ECS ECU out and popped it open. The board looks clean, maybe a little decolorization on some spots from the coating they sprayed on it, but my big question is this- a few of the caps had their sides stuck together, with some sort of residue. Is this also that protective coating? Last I knew, caps usually leak from the top or bottom. Can anyone chime in on this one? Thanks.

Caps usually leak from the bottom. It may not look like it's bad but only someone who can test it can be sure. Look up Eric Rymer as he does a great job of rebuilding them for a good price.
The caps are 50% of the time the problem. Bad wiring inside one of the struts could also be the issue. In the manual there is a section on how to test the whole system, using a multi meter. That would be the first place to look. It will give you a code to the exact problem.

Thanks Gonzo. I had her at the dealership, and they said it was an actuator, and offered to chase own which one exactly, but I told them not to bother. I'll plug it all back in tomorrow and see what error codes pop up.
