I just started collecting knives since I am in Taiwan and can't buy more guns. So far I have a Spyderco Tenacious and Böker Arbolito El Trampero. Also an original Leatherman PST. I have other back in the states but I left them there.
Here are the ones I have in Taiwan:

My brother bought me a Kershaw pocket knife for my B-day 2 weeks ago, I cannot imagine a blade any sharper, its scary sharp. It is as sharp as a single blade razor.

Someday I will own one of these John Neeman hand crafted knives...and likely one of his American felling axes.

Best knife ever, I've had two, both switchblades. One had the button exposed one didn't. Carried them for years until I had to work in a secured area.

What are you guys keeping knives in the car for...finding yourselves suddenly lost in the salami-and-cheese section of Costco?
You need something that goes "click-click-boom" in the car :D

I used to carry this everywhere. It was a good knife for the money.
My uncle is an ABS Journeyman. One of the knife tests they have to pass is cutting a 1" free hanging rope, in one swipe. I wish I had some pics of his work.

http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae349/Stealth2turbo/CAM00229.jpg The leatherman skeletool goes everywhere. Has a nice one handed draw for main blade. The swiss one stays in the backpack.

.45 auto = way overrated. :D Give me 9mm or .40S&W (which .40 hits a lot harder than .45) any day. Let the shouting begin!!!

I've always leaned towards a knife in the folder vs leatherman/multitool decision for everyday carry. I guess its because someone else always has a leatherman when I need one :p
