View Full Version : Anyone remember Alex Karras?
I remember him from his playing days - he always gave the Packers fits.
He was a bad mofo on the field.
Gonna say some prayers.

He's probably the greatest of the old time players who's not in the Hall of Fame. He had some gambling problems that kept him out. Now with his passing, he'll most likely get voted in.
Also, forgot he played the sherriff in Porky's.

Agreed.
Paul Hornung was similarly tainted by the gambling scandal, and he's been in the HOF for many years.
Time to make things right, I'd say.
Side note about Porky's - the director, Bob Clark, was the brother-in-law of a fellow I used to work with.
Clark was killed by a drunken-driver several years ago.
