I've never been a fan of that style wheel, but the G is nice. I want an AWD G37 coupe as my next car.

I think they look great. Do they fit the VR4? haha

What kind of wheels are those? 18"?

I notice you've got Hankook V12 tires on there, be careful when cornering hard, those are notorious for having an extremely weak sidewall.

Looks good, they also look good on the '04 GTO.

Really? Car and Driver really liked them?

Reason I ask is I have a set of them in my garage ready to go on my car.

I've driven the new 37 sedan and it is no joke. Had one as a loaner while my G was at the Infiniti authorized repair facility.... *cheers w/ brandy*

I don't know if the coupes come in AWD though. I know in the 35 line, the G35X (AWD) was sedan and A/T only. Not that the sedan with A/T is a bad thing when discussing G37s... the 37 sedan handles like a small car and the new 7-spd A/T is awesome.

Thanks! The bolt pattern is the same, but the offsets and tire heights on the G are all wrong for AWD 3/S (see below)... tire height and width are staggered F/R. They only offer one offset in each width in 5x114 bolt pattern... and I think the 19 x 8.5 is the only thing close.

All of their other wheels are 5x120 lug pattern for BMWs and such.

Nice choice.
Thanks! :)

Here are the fitment details for those curious...

G35
- 2003 Sport Coupe, stock suspension and alignment settings
- VMR V710 wheels: 19 x 8.5 +35 front, 19 x 10 +25 rear
- Hankook V12 tires: 255/35/19 front, 285/35/19 rear
- No fitment issues in front. I might add a small spacer to move them out 3-5mm.
- I trimmed the rear fender lip slightly to clear the sidewall of the 285. The tire would start to tuck but the fender lip interfered about 1/3 of the way down the sidewall.
- I think a 275/35 would fit without modification since there would be less sidewall bulge.

GTO
- 2004 M6, very non-stock suspension, stock-ish alignment settings
- VMR V710 wheels: 18 x 8.5 +45 with 3mm spacer front, 18 x 9.5 +50
- Sumitomo HTR-Z II tires: 235/40/18 front, 275/35/18 rear.

James, AWD is an option with the coupes in the 37's.

those look similar to the stock wheels? just with more spokes?

That's why I like them. They're look very nice, but not in your face, look at me, over the top. Looks like the car could've come right from the factory with them.

Definitely a beautiful wheel, looks just like the HRE P40's. I want wheels exactly like this, but finding the correct fitment is damn near impossible in 18" size.

Maybe (but not really) similar to the 19" Ray's wheels on the 05+ sport coupes:

Not similar at all to the 03-04 sport coupe wheels.

Cool. Just checked on the Infiniti website. Getting a later G37X coupe with the 7-spd A/T would be the way to go. Not sure when that switch was made, but I cannot praise that trans enough.

"Fucking classy" is what I was going for. :bigthumb:

I know. Our cars are so difficult to buy wheels for...

This wheel just recently became an option for the G/Z cars... they specifically made these offsets in 5x114 for G/Z. Everything else they do is 5x120.

This is what made me fall in love with them... VMR Wheels | 19" Hyper Silver V710 on Laser Red Infiniti G35 Coupe | Flickr - Photo Sharing! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/vmrwheels/6965424599/in/photostream/)

Yep, for some reason, HRE (and everyone who copied the P40 monoblock style) have only done them in 19" and up. When someone comes out with this wheel in an 18" format with several widths/offsets to choose from, they'll have a ton of business.

i think i'd do 19's if i had to do it again. just with a very beefy tire.
