My Tonneau Cover Clips were starting to show that nasty crumbly white look and granted they are only $10.00 a piece but this will do for now.
DISCLAIMER
The information provided below is the steps I used to make my tonneau clips look less nasty.
I am in no way liable for personal injury or undesired outcomes if you should try to repeat these steps.
1.) Start by washing the clips and drying them with a good amount of pressure. This will remove the crumbling plastic from dry rot. Becareful if they are too rotted, you could poke a hole in them.
2.) After they are completely dry, give them a heavy coat of Kiwi Black leather dye, let them sit for about a ten minuets, then buffed them to remove any residue.

Granted you can still see the decay but it is means to an end untill you want to buy new ones.
3.) Replaced the foam in the cup with black high density foam in a peal and stick form. Cut four strips and added them to ensure no rattling.
4.) If your tonneau cover wasn't staying attached to the cups, remove the metal clip and gently bend the arms of the clip closer together.
