You still aren't really answering the question for me so let me try again. Are you wanting a box that just sits in the back so its easily movable or a box that contours to the back? Additionally are you planning on using the space between the rear seats and the strut towers to mount the box? You also mention ditching the spare tire stuff, is that just so you have a spot to mount your amp(s)?

    OK

I am wanting to keep the box rectangle. None of the box will be in the "cubby" behind the seat. At this point I am needing the width at the base with the hinged cover board removed.

The spare tire and storage will be where my Amplifiers, EQ's, X-overs, Fuse blocks, ect will go.

That would be cool. I may, MAY look into building a box where the width follows the molding, I don't know as of yet. Volume will be easiest to calculate as a rectangle, but not impossible. Getting the two slot ports the proper length on the other hand could be tricky.

I consider it cruel and unusual punishment to live in a geographic location where you get to wait for the snow to come to you.

I am currently running 1 solo barricks L5 10" sub. The box i built is made out of 3/4 mdf. The dimentions are 35" wide x 14" deep x 11.5 tall. I have no spare tire stuff just a carpet. I do have all the plastics in except the hatch cover. My box fits snug between the base of the strut towers. But i had to remove the rear wiper motor in the steath, but not the 3000gt. I do not think you can use the rear cover for the hatch or the moon roof holder. this box sits fiush with the back seats but i still have room for a strut bar. hope this helps.
