Do some googling. People have issues with them fouling and not even working right new on install. Swapping to "normal" plugs solves the misfire issues they get with these things.

In other words, they are junk.

The point of a spark plug is to give you the best spark possible. With one single electrode you are going to get a hotter, better overall spark over one that has 3 electrodes splitting the spark into 3 weaker sparks.

They do have some compelling test results but I can bet not a single race team actually uses them.

I googled it and it seems like that most of the reviews are split ,they are either junk or they really work,no in between. The thing that caught my attention was some people were talking about them cracking and breaking off.Glad I asked because I almost went and bought a set today.Might try one in my lawnmower though..
    Thanks for the replies..

I have to disagree, I installed a set of E3 plugs about 18,000 miles ago I had NGK in before. Now did I notice any difference no, but in no way did it change the way my car is running. I have nothing bad or good to say about them, they are just another set of plugs.

You may disagree with them not causing you issues (yet), but the last point is 100% true. One big spark is better than 3 smaller ones.

Ngk or Denso Iridium is all I`d recommend.

I didnt read about them at all but they look like all the other "revolutionizing spark plugs out there" and ive always had the idea that no matter how many electrodes there are a spark will only jump to one.....there will only be one spark. So they aren't any better than a regular plug, just seems like time would be better used worrying about more important matters.

    This.

I think you have the wrong idea Stealthee. Correct if not.

Three electrodes are simply a marketing tool to get more money out of your pocket!

They were cheaper than the NGK's I had in my car
