    Output Shaft Install question

So I have a quick question that I've been wondering for a while. I cracked my tranny like a dumbass so I ordered a new one from a member on here (GREAT GUY). The vcu has been welded and I think he said it has a few hundred miles on it since the rebuild.

I have a 300M 18-spline output shaft coming in this week. I was wondering with the transmission out of the car how heard/easy would it be to replace it.

I'm not a tranny man so I'm worried I might mess something up. There's a tranny shop about 6 minutes from my house and I was thinking about just taking the tranny and my output shaft there and have them put it together.

So any advice would be helpfull thanks guys for reading.

Someone on 3si posted a guide and pics of him doing this parked on his street. Can't remember the members name though.

With the trans out of the car I'd imagine it can't take more than an hour.

I hope so I'm not very transmission literate yet. This would be my first real tranny work.
