Can someone please suggest a good Proxy website?

Ok, in case you all want to know why, it's not porn or stalking or anything... for our business, there are several "review websites" online. To get reviews, a lot of times when our brides are in our office and have seen their photos, we ask them if they'd give us a review, and we let them use our computer.

The problem is we got an email from one of the sites saying that several of our reviews came from the same IP address, and if this continues, they may start removing reviews.

Well these are legit reviews, I realize they have mesures to stop fake reviews, etc.

So I need to be able to let my clients review our business from our website in our office, and I believe the best way is via a Proxy..

However today after going to proxy.org it just seems like none of the servers work - all I get are pop up ads and "please wait" to watch an ad with the promise that the page will load, but it just keeps showing ads.

So, are there any GOOD proxies out there, that don't do all that crap?

Or, is there an easier way?

You could continually change your PC's IP through the command prompt.

You can try proxify.net but that's a longshot with their draconian BS to make you pay. I recently found a huge list of proxies like you're looking for, let me see if I can find it again.

If you're willing to try it out, check out xerobank's xB browser. It's slow, but it works. It accomplishes what you're looking for, but the legality is debatable.

Won't do anything, the IP is from their modem/router.

But you can still change your PC's IP by changing the last numbers. That is your specific computer on the network of their router. Did it with my laptops and PS3 all the time on my wireless router....No way the site bans the router/modem. Only one person in a whole library would be able to review their business....

Look, they're not going to have his internal IP address unless his firewall is ancient, or he's on some crappy library network

you can change your internal IP all you want, but that won't change your external facing IP

you could talk to your ISP about switching from a static IP to a dynamic IP, or contact the people in question and educate them about your business and explain to them that you allow customers to use your computers. i'm sure you have some proof that you had customers that you can show them should they require it.

Pretty sure my IP is dynamic, but when exactly does it change? Can I just re-set the modem and it get a new IP addy?

you probably have at least a 30 day lease on on the IP (ie at best it will change in 30 days)

Short of a proxy/anonomizer you're not going to get a different IP.
