Question Fantastic food you only recently discovered!?!

Man, a few days ago I discovered "carnitas", a slow cooked braised and simmered Mexican pork. Wow, so delicious, I'm craving it like a mofo right now!!! I can't believe it took me so many years to discover something that will surely be one of my favorites for the rest of my life.

Anyone else discover something awesomely delicious and wonder why it took you so long to try it???

I support the "Gay Jihad" against Rick Santorum!

Sushi. It's so good and pretty healthy too. I live in the desert and it took me until the age of 23 to even eat seafood cooked but I always stayed away from sushi. Recently I've been dating different girls that love it, that made me try it, and I can't help but eat it at least once a week.
Oh and being that you like Mexican food, if ur ever driving through or visiting New Mexico, we have our own special kind of Mexican made with hatch green and red chiles. Only place in the world that has it and its amazing.

I've become a big fan of Cuban food. I look forward to my trips to the Keys so I can get some really good Cuban. When I'm in the Keys, I get a Cuban mix sandwich everyday for lunch. I love yucca and fried plantains along with the yellow rice and black beans. We have some Cuban restaurants here in San Diego, but they don't seem to be able to make as well as in South Florida.
