Chrome ECU and the active exhaust system

I have read and talked with people that mentioned that there is a bug in the chrome set up in regards to the active exhaust system. Has this been resolved, and how do I know if I have the proper bin files? All my bin files are dated 7/10/15 if that helps.

You have the updated version. Very few people got the old one.

I'm the one having bugs with active exhaust. Mine stays closed when I turn off touring mode. should open up. Im on a 91 vr4, stock exhaust. THe stock ECU would open the exhaust up when i put it in "sport mode" or active exhaust switch circuit open. the chrome ecu just leaves it closed when i switch out of toruing mode.

stock, the default state for the active exhaust controller is energized via a ground from the ECU. switching in touring mode causes the ECU to de-energize the circuit until the parameters set in the ecu are met(rpm/throttle) and then it energizes the circuit to the AE controller via switching the ground on, to open up the stock exhaust.

It seems like this system is setup for an aftermarket cutoff exhaust that the default position is de-energized/closed, then you switch to touring to allow the cutoff to open under ECU parameters.

Oh from your PM you told me that the issue is its flipped.

I re-wrote the code to give the user manual control of the valve with the switch. I can't remember anymore if I left the stock code in there to operate it like stock with the periphery disabled...

I dunno i've tried to be clear about whats wrong, basically sport mode(active exhaust switch off) and my car's active exhaust shuts. Stock it would open up when off.

Greg, what date will the new BIN files have that addressed this? All of mine are dated 7/10/15 except the 23862006, that bin file is dated 3/10/13.
