I have a friend who has done some work on SH2 based ECUs found in the Mitsubishi Magna platform (Models TJ onwards(circa 1999-2004).

He was able to create additional Fuel and Ign timing tables for E85 and then using a spare (unused) input on the ECU was able to use this for Flex sensor signal input.

As far as i have been lead to understand the ECU will interpolate which fuel and timing maps to use based on the input signal coming in from the flex sensor.

I have a copy if his ROM for testing purposes as i own a TJ VRX Magna to test it with.
I just need to purchase a flex sensor (Zeitronix he said was the best to use but the GM one could also work)

If Greg is still interested in pursuing this on the 3000GT/GTO platform then I could pass on his details over to my friend to see if his IP on this could be shared?

I've already written the code to do this. It didn't work as well as we hoped in real world testing.
