    Porsche owners here?

My wife's car and also our touring car is a Porsche Cayenne S.
I know its not a sport car, however I feel great when I'm driving it. Did some small mods on it for GO, like Fabspeed 2ndarry cat delete, custom Magnaflow catback. I love the sound that this car does right now and how it revs on load, even if the used products aren't as High Quality as I thought

The car is a 2004 Cayenne S, US Model.

I have first converted to a Turbo look, and the after a year I converted again, visually to the newer model 957 Cayenne S, 2007-2009 model - which involved a lot work from my side for rewiring and manny parts to complete the job.
I could have make it look like a Turbo or GTS but I wanted S. Got all the parts OEM Porsche, and it turned out great.
Went with 20" wheels, OEM Porsche, and 18" for winter. The car didn't had PCM (which is navigation unit), and had retrofit a PCM2.1. That was the trickiest of all, because no one could make it work, took the car to several Porsche dealer across Europe. In the end, the problem was just because of a ground wire that needed to be connected. Have found this trick when I didn't expected and I was almost helpless.
As I said, I enjoy this car a lot, had put a lot of work in it and money. Did all the maintenance and dealer recalls, so it runs like a champ. Also, got the Durametric Pro software so I wont be needed to check the dealer at every oil change, to rip me off.

    as I got it:

after first visible mod, the catback

    and the Turbo Front:

Gorgeous vehicle. I really like the new look you put on it. Was it expensive putting OEM parts on? I only ask because I have a 2002 996 Turbo that ive been dieing to put a GT2 aerokit on, but im not sure if doing OEM is worth the extra money. (~10k for OEM vs ~4k for aftermarket). Anyway, looks like whoever installed the bumper did a great job on it. Congrats on the sweet SUV.

Here's a couple recent shots of my Turbo. It has been flashed, running about 1.2 bar now (which I think is around 17-18 PSI) and has a Fabspeed exhaust. Its extremely loud and Ill probably put something quieter later on. I have 18" Kinesis K-58s on it and love them.

Lol, the 996 Turbo was my dream car after I acquired my VR-4. Not sure how long it will take me to get one though.

They are very well priced right now, and because they are so reliable you can probably find one w 50-60k miles for under $40k.

I think they differentiate between the two generations as 997.1 and 997.2, but anyways that is one sweet goal! Any chance you might save a bit more and go with an RS? My buddy just bought a 997.1 GT3RS and damn!

i used to work on those things :-)... a GT3RS is an amazing machine, Im still a fan of the turbo though...

I had a customer who came in the shop with a 997 Turbo, had wheels, a custom exhaust. brought it in the shop, it was pouring down rain that day, i asked him
"I cant believe you drove this car in this weather"
and he responded with a smile.... "only because i didnt want to get my lamborghini wet.."

One day I would love to own a 964 Turbo. I would settle for an older Targa though.
