    12V tap for center gauges?

Is there any good place other than the rheostat connector to tap a 12V wire somewhere near the center gauges? I am installing new center gauges and my rheostat connector is already tapped to hell.

    Thanks

The purpose of hooking it to the rheostat is so they will dim if you dim the gauges, and so that they will only come on with parking lights.

Oh, I see thanks. I will need to tap them into a source that is always lit then.

10amp fuse is way to high of a rating for just three gauges. A 3 amp fuse would be more than enough if you are just running the gauges alone. Remember digital gauges are rated in milli-amps not amps
You match the fuse to the wire, not the project. Gauge of wire over length = fuse amperage

I used the cig lighter 12V with a 10amp inline fuse to my AEM's in center. Ground and power both run along pass side along console.

If you replaced the center gauges then use the stock wiring for the +12v When I hooked up my Prosport gauges I used all of the stock wiring so I wouldn't need to run random wires all over the place. Looking at the wiring diagram it will be the black-white wire.

Yep, I used the stock wires for my power feeds on the center gauges.
