Need some help..
So, I was feeling fairly proud of myself tonight. I don't have much experience working on cars but tonight I installed my new shifter and Shifter Assembly Stabilizer Bushing Kit. So yea I felt like I accomplished something!
I pulled it out of the garage to take it for a spin and get some gas, no more than 5 miles. Noticing it was having idling problems and then the check engine light came on. So I drove it home to figure out whats up. Apparently, I forgot to plug my freaking MAS back in. Total newb move I know.
But know after checking everything like 3 times its all back that way it was and idles fine but the check engine light is still on. Will the code just clear itself eventually or do I have to clear it? Or did i possible screw something else up?
Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

Congrats on install, Ecu can be reset by removing battery negative cable for over 10 minutes, you should have any radio codes documented.

Yes after so many cycles it will clear itself. Or like said above, simply remove the battery terminals and then reconnect. This will clear everything.
