Description
My car has come quite a long way from when I purchased it as a Christmas gift for myself in December of 2010. It was a completely stock 1992 3000GT VR4 with 85k original miles.

First thing I did was take it to 3sx to get it checked out. I dropped it off for the 60k maintenance since the previous owner did not do it. Then, 3sx told me my rear turbo was going bad and needed to be replaced. This is when all hell broke loose and my plans for upgrading the car was expedited!

So 2 months later I was a lot poorer, but now the car has 3sxecutioners with all the supporting mods and dejon blow-through with a maf and maf-t. I also upgraded the fuel pump at this time and got poly motor mounts.

I decided to take the car to a local car meetup and that is where I met Greg (DrGonzo). He is a wonderful person and without him, I would have sold my VR4 already. We discussed my future plans and he was on board with everything and willing to help. First major thing was getting the exhaust upgraded and I was very pleased with his work. We scheduled to do my front end conversion many months down the road.

Black Friday of 2011 is when I started purchasing the parts necessary for the conversion. I bought the bumper, corner lights, and rear garnish from IPS., the headlights and 2nd get bucket from various classified ads, and Bob's dual core FMIC.

It took a few months before everything came in and was ready to go. We also waited for the weather to get warmer, didn't want to stick Greg in the cold working on the car. Finally, the end of March rolled around and I dropped the car off for surgery. A few weeks later, she came out looking fantastic! I picked her up and immediately took her to get painted. Oddly enough, the paint on her was already the 99 red, so I only had to get the hood painted.

Big thanks to Greg for all the work he has done. I also thank the 3sgto community for helping me with various questions throughout the years.

Time for the mod list! This is all I can remember from the top of my head.
