This is a GT car and will remain a GT car. Plans are to keep it on TD04's. Running E-85 and keeping the budget low, the goal is to get into the 11's, while maintaining creature comforts, all while using E-85.

I'm currently replacing the stock bulbs with LED's, the dash and center console first. Not quite as straightforward and plug-and-play as one might hope, but a definitely worthwhile upgrade. I don't like the orange backglow, and am creating a red to darker red/purple fade towards the bottom of the gauges for a unique, but could've-been-factory look.

Bought this car in June 2010 for $2k. Seemed like a pretty good deal. It's an 01 1.8t auto with tiptronic, was quicker than I expected and get's insane gas mileage. 90k miles on the body and the engine was just rebuilt. The original owner never changed the timing belt or something. I don't think it had ever seen a garage and it needed some TLC all around.
